Delicious green apple and celery salad

Green Apple and Celery Salad Recipe

This salad can be prepared easily and quickly. It goes well with fish or white meat, so it's also a great side dish.

Delicious green apple and celery salad
  • 1 bunch of celery (100 g)
  • 2 green apples
  • Lemon juice (for flavoring)
  • Olive oil (for flavoring)
  • Salt and pepper (for seasoning)
  • 5 walnuts
  • 5 mint leaves
  • 2 tablespoons of different types of peanuts (30 g)
  • Mayonnaise (for flavoring) (optional)

Way

  1. Wash the celery and remove leaves, especially dry areas. Remove fine fibers and cut them into squares.
  2. Wash the apples. Cut it in half, remove the inside, and cut it into squares. To prevent the browning of apples, soak them in lemon juice.
  3. Finely chop the walnuts and other peanuts and mix in a bowl. Add finely chopped mint leaves, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Mayonnaise can be used as a  dressing. Before serving, it can be sprinkled on silver almonds and peanuts.

If desired, you can use a dressing made from the following materials. 

  • 5 tablespoons of Dijon mustard (100 g)
  • 3 tablespoons of honey (15 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil (15 ml)
  • Salt and pepper (for seasoning)

Ingredients (for 6 people)

  • 3 green apples
  • 1 bunch of celery
  • 1 small onion
  • 1/2 avocado
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Lettuce
  • 2 cups (300 g) frozen shrimp, peeled
  • 10 crab meat
  • 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise (60 g)
  • Salt (for flavoring)

Way

  1. Peel the apple and remove the inside. Cut into small cubes, soak in lemon juice, and set aside to prevent browning of the apple.
  2. Remove the leaves from the celery, cut them vertically, and then cut them horizontally to the same size as the apples.
  3. Peel the avocado, remove the seeds, and cut it into squares. Soak the lemon juice and set it aside.
  4. Peel the onion and chop it well. Wash the crab meat, cut it, and set it aside.
  5. Put salt in boiling water and blanch the shrimp for 1 minute. Transfer it to a bowl full of ice water. Dry well and cut into 3 equal parts.
  6. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Season with salt and add mayonnaise. Mix the dressing evenly.
  7. Garnish with lettuce leaves and serve.
